Combined with intelligent thermal management strategies, this design ensures continuous and stable operation while significantly improving energy efficiency. This approach sets a clear R&D direction for subsequent products, that is, focusing on the “synergistic optimization of performance and energy efficiency”.


With the introduction of the AM6B1, Union Memory takes a significant leap forward in consumer SSDs . This product achieves remarkable sequential read/write speeds of up to 7,000 MB/s and 6,200 MB/s respectively, which represents improvements of approximately 1.4x and 1.7x over the AM6A1. The AM6B1 not only meets high-load requirements such as instant loading of AAA games and simultaneous online presence of multiple accounts but also supports professional creative scenarios like real-time editing of 4K videos and batch processing of RAW images. Real-world data from CrystalDiskMark benchmarks shows that the AM6B1’s actual performance exceeds its official specifications, confirming its exceptional performance capabilities.

It is noteworthy that while enhancing performance, the AM6B1 does not compromise on energy efficiency. Adopting a DRAMless design and optimizing firmware algorithms to replace traditional cache chips, it effectively controls heat generation and power consumption of storage modules while reducing hardware costs and lowering purchase thresholds for users. The power consumption under L1.2 mode remains within 5mW, and operational power does not exceed 180 mW. This feature meets the dual needs of high performance and long battery life for gaming laptops and creative workstations. This balanced design makes the AM6B1 both a performance choice for high-end users and a cost-effective option for general consumers, which further consolidates Union Memory’s competitive edge in the consumer storage market and lays a solid foundation for the full upgrade of the AM6C1.


Breaking Performance Boundaries: Overcoming the Storage “Impossible Trinity”


The launch of the AM6C1 signifies Union Memory’s successful challenge against the traditional dilemma in the field of consumer storage - the difficulty of balancing “High Performance, Low Power Consumption, and Cost-effectiveness” - and achieves comprehensive breakthroughs with robust technology.




In terms of performance, the AM6C1 achieves another milestone with sequential read/write speeds hitting 7,100 MB/s and 6,600 MB/s respectively, and breaking the 1,000K IOPS barrier in 4KB random read performance — a key indicator that significantly boosts application startup and data retrieval speeds, creating a smoother and faster user experience.




In terms of power consumption control, the AM6C1 employs intelligent thermal management technology to adjust its operational status in real-time, ensuring temperature stability during high-performance operations and enhancing device durability. Coupled with an efficient PMIC power management chip, it further optimizes energy efficiency. Additionally, its support for the L1.2 low-power mode keeps power consumption at ≤ 2.5 mW, and significantly extends the battery life of mobile devices like laptops, fully meeting the needs of mobile office and entertainment scenarios.


Regarding data security and compatibility, the AM6C1 is equally capable. The Power Loss Protection (PLP) mechanism it adopts effectively prevents data loss during unexpected power outages, thus ensuring data security and integrity. Furthermore, the product boasts broad compatibility with new Intel and AMD platforms. It seamlessly adapts to various mainstream systems, providing convenience for user upgrades and usage.


In PCMark 10 tests, both the 512GB and 1TB versions of AM6C1 scored over 3900, outperforming similar products from Competitor B by more than 10%. Its 256GB version also performed comparably to equivalent products from Competitor A.





With solid advancements across multiple dimensions, the AM6C1 undoubtedly offers a reliable “all-round” storage solution for AI PCs and high-end creation scenarios.
